Flipkart Will Provide Jobs to 4000 People This Holiday Season, Apply From This App
Flipkart has introduced a special marketplace model called Flipkart Xtra to provide individuals, service agencies, and technicians with flexible earning opportunities. Flipkart has taken a major step towards creating 4,000 jobs before the festive season. This move also strengthens the Flipkart supply chain and ensures seamless and fast shipping and service to customers across India, especially during festive sales.
Every year around Diwali, e-commerce platforms such as Flipkart and Amazon sell all day, offering discounts in categories such as electronics, consumer electronics, smartphones, and laptops. In such a situation, Flipkart has released a standalone app called Flipkart Xtra to facilitate the onboarding process. This app can be used for background checks of job seekers. They will have to give them the necessary details like their educational qualifications, work experience.

Job seekers will be able to participate in a variety of roles within the next few months, including delivery executives and service partners or technicians. The new app will help thousands of individuals, technicians, and service agents across the country provide access to additional jobs and revenue opportunities as delivery partners.

The Flipkart Xtra app allows participants to sign up from anywhere and choose their preferred schedule for delivering shipments. It is an extension of Flipkart’s optional delivery model which also includes the Flipkart Kirana program. The Flipkart Kirana program has grown exponentially over the years. The grocery delivery model completed 10 million shipments during the holiday season last year.
